Tettnanger
Noble hop from Lake Constance — floral and spicy.
Description
Grown around Tettnang on Lake Constance. A noble variety — closely related to Saaz — with delicate floral and spicy character. The traditional aroma hop for southern German lagers, Kölsch, altbier, and weizens. The American 'Tettnanger' (a Fuggle relative) is a different hop entirely.
