American Ale II (Wyeast 1272)
Anchor-derived American strain — slightly fruity.
Description
A characterful American ale strain — slightly fruitier than Chico with a faint nutty edge. Higher flocculation than 1056 and a touch sweeter. A good choice for amber ales, brown ales, and pale ales that want a bit of yeast-driven character.
