Belgian Abbey Ale II (WLP530)
Westmalle-derived Belgian Abbey strain.
Description
The Westmalle yeast. Drier and a touch more attenuative than WLP500, with cleaner pear-clove character. Excellent for tripels and BSDAs where you want sharp Belgian character with a dry finish. High alcohol tolerance handles big tripels and quads.
