California V Ale (WLP051)
Anchor Liberty strain — fruitier than Chico.
Description
Said to descend from the Anchor Liberty Ale yeast. Lower attenuation than WLP001 and noticeably fruitier — soft stone fruit and apricot esters. A strong choice for West Coast IPAs that want a touch of ester to complement big hop loads.
