Black Malt
Roasted base for porter color and depth.
Description
Generic name for heavily roasted malted barley, similar to Black Patent but typically a touch smoother. Use 3–7% in porters, robust browns, and as a small color adjustment in stouts where you already have roasted barley doing the work.
